Overview

What happens "behind the scenes" in the culture of your organization greatly impacts your effectiveness in carrying out your God-given mission. This course is designed for church leaders who want to better understand how to shape their culture in order to encourage the spiritual transformation of those they lead and serve.

The course begins by providing a definition for culture, and then explores the critical role of leadership in shaping a culture that is catalytic to spiritual transformation. You'll evaluate your current culture and explore how to become a stronger leader in shaping healthy culture

Topics include practical principles for establishing a clear understanding of how authority is established, how much ownership individuals feel, and how teams function most effectively. You'll also learn how the leader's tone develops a core of trust and strength in your organization. Other material explores how to build an integrated spiritual culture, organizational rhythms, and the unspoken elements of a culture. Final weeks of the course will offer guidance in crafting your next steps in shaping culture, and help you identify next steps to put the plan in action.
