World AIDS Day 2008: 6,000 Reasons to Act
In a recent study, George Barna indicates American Evangelicals have an increasing sense of social responsibility and “wanting to make a difference in the world." A clear way to do that is around the global AIDS crisis.
Responding to this pandemic, the Willow Creek Association, Fuller Seminary, and World Vision have teamed up to create FREE downloadable resources for World AIDS Day, which occurs December 1. Specially designed for group discussion, this interactive resource features a one-lesson format that will lead your group through a discussion around AIDS in the face of poverty.
Free resources include:
- FREE Leader's Guide, including group activities, discussion questions, and clear next steps on how your group can respond
- TWO FREE video resources you can watch online or download as a DVD
It is our prayer that these resources will inspire and equip your groups to engage in serving people who are affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic in your community and around the world. We can make a difference.
