Sandra Van Opstal, Co-director of Chicago Urban Program with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a second generation Latina born in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Millikin University in 1996 with a degree in Music Business, and is working towards her Masters of Divinity at Trinity International University. Sandra serves on the national leadership team for La Fe, InterVarsity’s Latino Ministry. She has been ministering to college students through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for the past 9 years. In addition to her ministry on campus she has enjoyed leading worship at InterVarsity's Urbana Mission Convention and CHIC (Covenant Youth Convention) and her local Church, New Community Covenant.
