Originally from Killeen, Texas, Preston Mitchell received a BA in Journalism from Texas Tech and earned a Master's of Christian Leadership from Criswell College. Preston and his family were among the original group of people who started Fellowship Church. After 16 years in public relations and advertising, Preston joined the Fellowship Church staff as Pastor of Spiritual Development. He transitioned into the role of Executive Pastor in 2003. He was instrumental in the creation and development of Fellowship Connection and the national and regional Creative Church Conferences. In 2005, overseeing FC Students was added to Preston's expanding ministry role. Preston and his wife, Dedo, have three children.
