On behalf of Willow Creek Association, thank you for your interest in becoming a host satellite site for The Leadership Summit. We're pleased that you are interested in making this available to those in your area. At this time, all of our sites have been designated for the coming Summit.

For Willow Creek Association, this is not just a question of satellite capability. As you may be aware, when an event is broadcast via satellite, there are different types of transmissions. There is the open type of transmission that anyone with a dish can sign up and pay a fee to receive, and there is a scrambled type transmission that is further controlled so that only limited locations can receive it. We use the second type. Because of copyright issues that we have encountered in the past, Willow Creek Association cannot make our simulcasts openly available to all at this time.

Because we want to ensure that those who attend each location receive the complete experience, each location is a significant investment for us. We provide on-going training for event managers, promotional strategists, technical directors and producers. For the actual event, we send a Willow Creek event coordinator and a resource manager to each of our new locations to work with the local team.

The host site is also accountable to invite and accommodate area churches. In most cases, a large seating capacity in the main auditorium/sanctuary is needed, plus adequate places for feeding large numbers, operating book/product sales, etc. The host site must also provide enough staff/volunteers to handle the hundreds of attendees and all the details from preparation and training to the actual event.

Our goal has been to make The Leadership Summit, one experience, multiple locations. Plus, we want to make the Summit more available to WCA Member Churches, as well as other key churches, so that a site would be around 100 miles driving distance for the majority of churches in a given area.

If you would like to enter your church's information in our database for consideration as a future satellite site, please click on the button below and follow the instructions. Again, thanks for your interest and support of Willow Creek Association.
