The Ancient-Future Community is the 2007 Group Life Conference of the Willow Creek Association, held September 27-29 at the Willow Creek campus near Chicago.
Join Scot McKnight, Will Miller, Henry Cloud, Bill Donahue, Alan Hirsch, Ron Martoia, Mark Buchanan and more than 3,000 international ministry leaders for three days of challenging and inspiring group sessions and nearly 100 breakouts.
For the first 300 years, the church didn’t have small groups – it was small groups. That’s why this year’s all-new Group Life Conference will look at the ancient foundations of community life, modeled by Jesus Christ and the early church.
Churches must also reach out to embrace the future – from neighborhood gatherings and house churches, to compassion-focused small groups, and even virtual communities. We’ll explore innovative and emerging forms of communal life in the church while offering practical training to strengthen your existing groups and ministries.
This event will refuel and equip every group leader in your church, while also connecting your ministry point leaders to breakthroughs and the latest learnings from innovative thought leaders.
