Film Festival
Submission Rules
If you are interested in participating in the Group Life Film Festival, send us your best original videos in any of the following categories:
- Group Life Promo (<90 seconds); Promotional video, drama, music video or testimonial inviting people into Group Life
- My Best, Worst Story (<3 minutes); The funniest, most embarrassing, or (in retrospect) dumbest thing you've done in Group Life
- Training (<10 minutes); Video created specifically for training leaders, coaches, or small group members in Group Life

*All entries must be created by churches for churches.
*Limit of five entries per church.
*All entries must be received no later than August 16, 2008 NOW Extended to September 26, 2009!
*All entries must include entry form.
*Film Festival entries will NOT be returned.
The Film Festival team will view all submitted videos. The number of entries will determine how many videos are viewed during the Festival. Semi-finalists will be posted online for public voting between October 1 and October 15. Voting will be for best in each category and best overall. Finalists in the "Best, Worst Story" category will be shown from the Main Stage during Session Four at the Group Life Conference, with the first prize winner selected by attendees. The church winning Best Video overall will receive 4 free registrations for Group Life Conference 2009.
Creators do not need to be present to win. Prizes will be announced at the conference.
Written documentation showing appropriate copyright releases and licenses must accompany all entries and is the complete responsibility of the creator or church submitting the piece.
The Film Festival is open before the conference from 9:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, and at selected times during the conference. The conference notebook you receive upon arrival will provide additional details on show times.
