Skill–Based Breakouts

Registering for ARISE gives you the opportunity to customize your Thursday training experience.  You may exchange one or more of the Featured Breakout sessions for skill-specific learning options.  

There are 120 opportunities to choose from, arranged in a variety of training categories.  Most topic areas have options for all four sessions; however you do not have to stay in one area for the day.  You can mix and match breakouts to design the day that perfectly meets your specific role and training needs.

Teaching
Like other forms of art, biblical teaching has the ability to create transformational moments that touch the minds and hearts of those around you and open them to God's life-changing message of hope.  This track is designed specifically for teaching pastors.

Drama
Drama in the church has the potential to draw people into moments of self-examination, celebration, and life-change. This track has multiple training opportunities for drama ministry leaders, directors, actors, and writers.

Technical Arts
Church services depend on the expertise, experience and character of the technical artist.  Our skill-based breakouts offer learning and growth opportunities in the areas of audio, lighting, scenic, video, post video, and leadership.

Creating Services
Explore creative ways to design and develop your services.  Spend time with arts leaders from across the country and gain new ideas for your next service.  This track is designed for arts leaders, service producers, and creative contributors.

Worship and Music
Worship and music plays a key role in our services.  Music can tell our stories, give expression to what is in our hearts and minds and bring us to the foot of the cross.  This track has multiple opportunities for the lead worshipper, music director, vocalist, instrumentalist, choir director, and songwriter.

Life Beyond Sunday
Engage with gifted and experienced teachers in opportunities to grow as leader and a Christ-follower.
