Andrew Schuurmann has served on the Willow staff as a video producer and editor for the past seven years. His primary responsibility is creating videos for weekend services and conferences. Prior to being called to Willow, he worked for three years at Fox Sports Network in Los Angeles, where he held a variety of producer positions.

Dave Cooke is the chief video engineer for Willow Creek, and has been on staff at Willow in video and production since 1990. Dave started doing production in youth ministry way back in 1978 in California. He has worked professionally in video production in Los Angeles and Chicago, but has devoted himself to using his gifts in the production ministry. Dave currently serves alongside system engineers on the Willow production staff and oversees the many technical projects that Willow develops. Most notably, Dave was the point leader in the design of the video system installed in Willow's new 7200 seat auditorium. The video system design at Willow is very complex, but Dave and his team of engineers keep it running smooth for every service and event on the Willow campuses. Dave has also has designed a number of other smaller video venues for other Willow venues and other churches. He enjoys the challenge of keeping up with the ever-changing technology in the video industry and applying this to the needs of Willow's current and future technology needs.

Randy Warren
Randy Warren has been attending Willow Creek since 1989. Serving as a video volunteer in the early 90s, he was hired in 1996 to create videos for Promiseland and other ministries. He is currently one of the four staff Producer/Editors and is most passionate about storytelling through directing shoots on location and in the studio.

John Carlson
John Carlson came to Willow Creek in 1987 as a seeker after being invited by a college friend who served in the music ministry. After committing his life to Christ, John served at Willow from 1987 to 2002 - first as a volunteer in the music ministry, and later as a staff Music Director and Arranger for 7 years. He also worked for the Willow Creek Association for 3 years as a Music Product Development Director. Before coming to Willow, John studied at the University of North Texas, and finished with a degree in Saxophone Performance from Northern Illinois University in 1986. As a multi-instrumentalist, John has served on worship teams with Tommy Walker, Darlene Zschech, Israel Houghton, Nicole Nordeman, and jazz artists Abe Laboriel Sr. and Kirk Whalum, as well as working as a freelance musician with several noted Chicago society bands and world-renowned entertainers. John's CD "Expressions Of Instrumental Worship", a compilation of two instrumental CDs recorded at Willow Creek, has been met with wide acclaim in both church and jazz circles. In 2007, John was voted "Christian Jazz Artist Of The Year" by IndieHeaven.com, a website representing independent ministry artists. He has also served on staff at churches in Dallas Texas, and Iowa City, Iowa. John, his wife Chris, and daughter Shailee, now make their home in the Iowa City area. John's passion today is helping gifted musicians realize the joy and fulfillment of making music of excellence for the Lord - in the Church and in the world.

He also consults with churches around the country and continues to work with established and up-and-coming recording artists in music production. Stan is a mainstay at Arts Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif., where he also directs the worship choir.

Stan's gifts and talents have taken him on a fascinating journey, assisting hundreds of churches around the world including several very large ministries. Meg is the Program Director for Orchard Hill Church, an interdenominational church located in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While serving as a vocalist on the Orchard Hill Music Team for 12 years, her career background was in the medical field as an Administrative Director of Laboratory Services. Nicole has been the production assistant for 2 1/2 years. Prior to that she was the assistant to the teaching pastor of the Axis ministry for 4 years as volunteer staff. All that to say...Nicole loves using her administrative gifts to serve her creative co-workers who do their jobs with excellence but need a little help in the admin department. Serving as the administrator for the 32 production staff makes no one day look the same. Nicole’s main focus is assisting the Executive Production Manager and the Production leadership with financial stuff, calendar management, and everything in between.

Jodi has been the Assistant to the Operations Director of the Arts at Willow for 6 years. Her main responsibilities are related to the operations of the programming and production teams, including helping manage, process, and track the budget for Willow's Creative Arts Department, assisting with details related to office layout and orienting new staff within the department, and managing the schedule for various rehearsal and meeting rooms used by the department. By helping the team with day-to-day administrative tasks, it frees up the creative- and technical-minded staff to spend their time focused on their areas of strength.

Shane has been the Creative Arts Pastor at NewSpring Church since April 1, 2005. The church nearing it's 8th Anniversary and is currently averaging over 7500 attendees each Sunday. NewSpring was recently listed as the 18th fastest growing church in America. Before joining the NewSpring staff Shane worked in the insurance industry. He led teams that responded to accidents and natural disasters. Amazingly that has translated very well into production and creative planning!

In 2001 Willow's first regional site opened in Wheaton and Julie began volunteering 20 hours a week in the area of Programming and Production. After a 16 year career in Meeting and Event Planning, she joined the Wheaton team as Director of Programming. In 2004 Julie transitioned to the Barrington campus where she now serves as a Senior Producer. Julie is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and now resides in Lisle, Illinois with her husband Tim.

Hector Hermosillo, is founder of the Spanish Christian music pioneer band, Torre Fuerte (Strong Tower). His music career began in the early 80's when he participated in numerous recordings and toured with some of the most popular artists in the international music scene, becoming the music director for Luis Miguel in 1989 & 1990. In 1996, along with his wife, he founded three Christian ministries, Semilla de Mostaza (Mustard Seed), in the cities of Mexico City, Cuernavaca, and Taxco Guerrero. Presently, Hector is the director and teaching pastor of Casa de Luz, Willow Creek Community Church's Hispanic ministry located in the area of Chicago, Illinois. Hector has a passion to preach the message of Jesus Christ in a way that everyone can understand. Hector, his wife and 5 children currently reside in Chicagoland. Héctor Hermosillo es fundador de la banda pionera de la música Cristiana en Español, Torre Fuerte. Monty Kelso
Monty Kelso has excelled internationally at both directing creative church communications, and leading and designing worship and programming. A well-known and widely-admired Worship Leader at Coast Hills Community Church in Aliso Viejo, Calif., for many years, Monty possesses a combination of talents and skills as a Worship consultant, coach and mentor that are uncommon. Under his guidance, Coast Hills and many other churches have attained new levels of relevancy in their creative arts ministries, and have earned reputations for being highly culturally engaged within their communities.

Dave has been attending Willow Creek since 1985. Dave draws on 30 years of experience in the area of business leadership & development. He has played key roles in ministry development. Dave served in Promiseland, the church's children's ministry, for over 19 years. He was part of the team who wrote the strategic plan that launched the 1998 Promiseland movement. Brandon Grissom is a really tall, slightly clumsy singer/songwriter from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Raised in the dusty backwoods of Oklahoma, he relocated to chi-town from Oklahoma City in the spring of 2003. Ben Fowler
Ben Fowler is the Creatives' Pastor at Mosaic Seattle. He has served in a variety of church environments as a volunteer and as paid staff. His ultimate desire for worship experiences is that they would lift people into God's presence, connect them with their brokenness, and allow them to respond in worship-not just with their voice but with their life. He finds great joy in nurturing an environment where artists can grow in their craft and their character. He has played professionally in symphony orchestras, rock bands, and jazz bands. She grew up at Willow Creek, then studied English and French literature at Westmont College, in Santa Barbara, California. She worked in Student Ministry at Willow Creek for five years and as the Creative Director at Mars Hill for three years.

Shauna's first book, Cold Tangerines, is a collection of essays about the extraordinary moments in our everyday lives. Her very favorite things are throwing dinner parties, taking full advantage of Michigan summers, and reading great books.

Meg is the Program Director for Orchard Hill Church, an interdenominational church located in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently on staff as a Guest Artist at Regent University, Derek also serves as a Drama Director and writer for Spring Branch Community Church, both in his home town, Virginia Beach, Virginia. A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Derek Leonidoff recently returned home from Los Angeles, California, where he was working as an actor and writer. Recent credits include the father, "Bob Belmont" on The Knock Knock Show for CBN films (which can currently be seen on TBN,) the starring role of "Ron Fervent" in the hit independent film, Moving, and the coveted role of "the Donut Kid" in the Walt Disney production First Kid with Sinbad. Derek is also a veteran of dozens of national and regional commercials, and he has performed in over one-hundred industrial films. His extensive theatrical credits include "Albert Peterson" in Bye Bye Birdie, Christmas Carol and Nicholas Nickerby (national tours,) and last summer he was seen portraying multiple characters in the in the one-man show, The Wreck of the Dictator.

A life long student of improvisation, Derek is a graduate of The Groundlings Improv Comedy School, The Improv Olympic Training Center, and the famed Second City Conservatory.

He is currently Director of the Arts and in addition to overseeing the Arts for Kensington’s 4 Campuses, Director of the Kensington School of the Arts and serves as a member of Kensington’s Management Team.

Aubrey Campbell
Aubrey is the Producer of weekend and midweek services at the McHenry Regional. Her ability to see the big picture combined with her ability to facilitate the small details of creative ideas is a dynamic combination. She loves being able to partner with other artists; technical, musical, and visual, in an effort to draw others into the Throne Room of God. Her high energy and upbeat personality bring excitement and joy to this Regional team.

Aubrey graduated from North Park University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. At North Park she volunteered as a Student Worship Leader and loves being able to serve at McHenry as an alternate Worship Leader.

Aubrey was a long term volunteer at the McHenry Regional all through college, stepping in and out of part time staff roles in the areas of Administration and Assistant Producer. She joined the staff permanently in June of 2007.

Mike Harris is Founder and President of WaveMaker Ministries, a worship leading, teaching, coaching and consulting ministry. With over thirty years experience as a Worship Arts Pastor, Minister of Music, Missionary, Christian artist and leader, Mike is uniquely qualified to serve leaders, churches, artists and ministries by helping them realize their full potential in worship and the arts. Mike's ministry experience includes 10 years of service as Worship Arts Pastor at Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs. During his tenure the church grew from 1200 to over 6,000 with multiple worship teams, bands, special events and multisite venues. Prior to that, he served as the Worship and Fine Arts Pastor of Trinity Church in Lubbock Texas for 10 Years. During this season of ministry the church grew from 2500 to 9,000 with multiple worship teams, bands, orchestra and special events. Mike also spent 5 years in missions with Youth With a Mission, serving as music director and North American Coordinator for King’s Kids International, ICS principal and instructor and base worship leader.

Mike is married to Brenda, his wife and sweetheart of 27 years. Brenda is an excellent wife, mother, homemaker, worship leader and Curves Fitness Center owner. Mike and Brenda have four children: Angela Gayfield, 27, Rebecca Parton, 25, Michael David, 17, Jeoffrey, 14, and one grandchild, Alexis Gayfield, 5. Ben Fowler is the Creatives' Pastor at Mosaic Seattle. He has served in a variety of church environments as a volunteer and as paid staff. Scott Dyer has served as the Pastor of Worship and Arts at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, in Dallas, Texas, since 2004. Prior to coming to Bent Tree, Scott served on staff at Willow Creek Community Church and the Willow Creek Association for 14 years. Scott served as a worship leader, songwriter and vocalist at Willow. At the WCA he oversaw the development of resources for the arts, including Heart of the Artist, drama scripts and music charts. He produced 4 CD's for Willow Creek and has served as executive producer for 6 other recording projects. Partnering with his wife Vonda they have produced a series of vocal exercise CD's to help singers realize their vocal potential. Scott's song, "Forgive Me", was recorded by Rebecca St. James and BarlowGirl on Rebecca's latest CD, If I Had One Chance to Tell You Something, and it was performed live at the Dove Awards in April of 2006. His song, "Not I But Christ", was featured on Worship Leader Magazine's Song DISCovery volume #61. Other songs Scott has written include "Everything I Am", "He Was", "Lay Your Burdens Down", "Still Amazed (Amazing Grace)" and "Ancient of Days". He is the author of "The Source for Effective Church Service Planning."

While at Willow Creek, Scott was a worship leader, songwriter and vocalist. Scott also oversaw the development of Arts products for the WCA, including Rory Noland's book "Heart of the Artist" and Willow Creek drama products and music charts. Scott produced 4 CD's for Willow Creek, and served as executive producer on 6 other projects.

Vonda Dyer is the executive producer at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas where she oversees all aspects of Sunday services. She also leads Bent Tree's vocal team and choir. Elicia Zimmerman has served as Willow Chicago's Production Coordinator and Drama Director. Prior to that she worked in the movie 'biz' on film such as Batman Begins, Proof,The Weather Man, and The Break Up, to name a few. In 2002, she earned an Main Film & Theater from Regent University, which is also where she met her husband and "partner in crime" James Frizzell. Regional theater experience includes Shakespeare & Company of Massachusetts and Virginia Musical Theatre among others. Of the roles that Elicia has performed, her favorites are "Helena" from A Mid Summer Night's Dream and "Suzzette" from Don't Dress for Dinner. Elicia's passion is 'truth' and the unveiling of truth is what she strives to capture in all of Willow Chicago's dramas. She gets a lot of inspiration from her father, Ray Zimmerman; her brother, Nathaniel Zimmerman; and Christian apologist, speaker and author, Ravi Zacharias.

Hector Hermosillo, is founder of the Spanish Christian music pioneer band, Torre Fuerte (Strong Tower). His music career began in the early 80's when he participated in numerous recordings and toured with some of the most popular artists in the international music scene, becoming the music director for Luis Miguel in 1989 & 1990. In 1996, along with his wife, he founded three Christian ministries, Semilla de Mostaza (Mustard Seed), in the cities of Mexico City, Cuernavaca, and Taxco Guerrero. Presently, Hector is the director and teaching pastor of Casa de Luz, Willow Creek Community Church's Hispanic ministry located in the area of Chicago, Illinois. Hector has a passion to preach the message of Jesus Christ in a way that everyone can understand. Hector, his wife and 5 children currently reside in Chicagoland.
