An artist can only paint with the colors on his or her palette. The Arts Conference not only allows you to add colors to your creative palette—but also it introduces you to ones you may have never seen before. Come learn from creative arts leaders representing diverse backgrounds and churches and discover fresh expressions of worship and imagination.
Our Creativity in Action breakouts offer the opportunity for you to be a part of "show and tell" experiences from unique churches across the country, including:
- The Journey Church in New York, NY
- Granger Community Church in Granger, IN
- Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, IL
In the Skill Based Breakouts, you can benefit from the experience of dozens of leaders from more than 25 ministries around the country. These breakouts are organized by category (lighting, worship, drama, dance, etc.), but you can mix and match however you like to get the training line-up for you.
You can also join in Conversations with experienced facilitators from churches from around the country. In a group of seven people or fewer, you'll get the chance to interact with other artists, hear their ideas, share yours, and get guidance from the facilitator as well.
The Film Festival on Thursday night is another great opportunity to expand your creative repertoire. Take in the best offerings in film and video by church ministries around the country—an opportunity for both inspiration and entertainment. You'll leave affirmed by the quality of artistic work being created by and for the church, and brimming with new ideas for your own efforts. No pre-registration is required. Simply listen for announcements at the conference for specific time and room location at Willow Creek on Thursday night.
