There is always a deadline… always another service. There are teams to build and people to lead. In the midst of a full schedule, how do you take care of yourself, grow in your leadership abilities, and develop the team you’re leading?
We have created just the place. A series of one-day regional events designed to invest in artists and arts leader in the local church.
The Green Room offers artists of all kinds opportunities to not just elevate their craft, but also develop vision as an entire Arts team, receive practical training, and grow spiritually. This experience is led by Nancy Beach, who provides teaching and encouragement that comes from years of experience. Explore what God is doing in and through the arts by joining a Green Room gathering near you — build community with artists and leaders in your region!
The Leaders Table provides arts leaders a place for dialogue, interaction, encouragement, and growth. These gatherings focus on developing and processing arts leadership as a unified community and provide an opportunity to collaborate and connect with other arts leaders in the community. If God has gifted and placed you as an Arts leader, consider attending one of the Leader’s Table gatherings, where you’ll be able to share your heart and be inspired by new ideas.

When it comes right down to it, most people just want to be invited to play.
We talk a lot about what it means to be the church in a consumer culture. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like short order cooks instead of artists and teachers and leaders, drawing a community along, inspiring, guiding. Sometimes it feels to those of us who create services, after a service falls flat or the words of an awful email sear themselves on our brains, like the consumer culture we live in may have followed us to church.
I got to the point, to be honest, when I was leading a team that created Sunday services, that I played a little game with myself on Sundays, predicting what emails, about what issues, and from what members, would land in my inbox on Monday.
