Leadership development is a term that originated in secular circles, specifically in the business community. But it quickly spread to the church world as pastors and Christian leaders acknowledged the need for strong leaders to head up the various ministries in their churches. While few pastors would argue leadership development is not important, how many are actively engaged in the process? In most cases, it's not a matter of "want to". It's more a matter of "how to".
