Phil Vischer
Founder of Jellyfish Labs, LLC, Big Idea Productions, and VeggieTales, Phil Vischer made his first animated film when he was nine years old. After a brief stint at Bible college, Phil struck out on his own, looking for a way to integrate his faith with his filmmaking. This quest led him to a tomato and a cucumber — and the creation of VeggieTales.
Fifteen years later, almost 50 million VeggieTales videos have been purchased, and these faith-filled stories can be found in a third of all American homes with young children. Today Phil is actively pursuing new ways to integrate faith and storytelling through his company, Jellyfish Labs, LLC.
A life-long devotee of helping foster the spiritual development of children, he has written three books, Sidney & Norman, 47 Beavers On the Big Blue Sea, and Me, Myself, & Bob.
