Kerri Mahla
Kerri Mahla currently serves as the Programming and Curriculum Director in Promiseland, the children’s ministry of Willow Creek Community Church. Her ministry includes overseeing large group programs, small group curriculum, and activities/crafts for infants-5th grade. Kerri first came to Promiseland as a volunteer music leader in age 4/5. In the year 2000, she came on staff as an age 2/3 curriculum writer. Since then, she’s served as a programmer, writer, and the Early Childhood Director. Prior to coming on staff at Willow Creek, Kerri was an elementary school teacher in the public schools for five years. Kerri’s passion is teaching and sharing God’s unconditional love so that it sinks way down deep into the heart of kids. Nothing excites her more than exploring and discovering new ways to teach God’s Word so that kids know without a doubt that Jesus loves them and they can’t help but have a desire to live their lives for Him. Kerri lives with her unbelievably cool husband, Ronson, in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
